Frequently Asked Questions

Here's what we usually get asked

How does it work?

Upon Application our Head of Performance will reach out to organise an initial assessment with your Junior Athlete.

This Assessment allows us to identify what your Junior Athlete needs to improve to be their best and exactly what level is best for them to start at.

After the assessment you can start training right away in a program perfectly suited to your Junior Athletes nees.

Does my child need to already be strong or experienced in the gym?

Not at all. Most athletes we work with have never done structured strength training before. We teach the fundamentals of movement, coordination, and body control, so your child learns how to train safely and confidently from the beginning.

Will this interfere with my child’s sport training?

No, the program is designed to support and enhance sport performance, not replace it. Training sessions are structured so athletes can recover well and perform better during practices and games.

How often should my child train each week?

Most athletes start with 2 sessions per week, which fits alongside school and sport commitments. During your call we’ll recommend the best schedule based on your child’s sport, season, and training history.

How long before we start seeing results?

Most parents notice improvements in movement confidence, coordination, and strength within the first few weeks. Longer-term athletic development happens over months of consistent training, which is why we focus on building habits and progress over time.

Is strength training safe for young athletes?

Yes absolutely, when it is properly coached and age-appropriate. Our program focuses on movement quality, controlled progressions, and safe technique, helping athletes build strength while reducing their risk of injury in sport..

My child has had an injury. Can they still train?

Often yes. Many athletes join us while returning from injury or managing minor issues. We can adjust and update any session around their injury history. Training can help rebuild strength and confidence safely. During your call we’ll discuss your child’s situation and recommend the best next step.

What if we’re not sure this is the right fit yet?

That’s exactly why we start with a short call and an initial assessment. We’ll learn about your child, explain how the program works, and help you decide whether this is the right next step for them.

What happens after we submit the form?

Once you submit the form, you’ll be able to book a quick call with one of our coaches. We’ll learn about your child, answer any questions, and help you decide whether the initial athlete assessment is the right next step.
